Have you heard? Gradients are back.
Flat design has been trending in the past few years for its minimalist, no-nonsense design approach. Clean lines and single-color application to objects were contrasted against the previously popular rise of skeuomorphic design pioneered by Apple in early iOS years where gradients and other image effects were applied with wild abandon.
We’re seeing the return of vibrantly colored gradients but also subtler gradients that add depth and dimension to the flat minimalism design trend.
