Our UX + UI Process
We believe that a great user experience should feel intuitive and satisfying.

1. Understand
For every UX + UI process, CRISPx starts with Phase 1: Understand We strive to understand two crucial elements: A) Your customer and B) Your competition.
Designing for user experience is all about addressing pain points and we need to answer the following questions:
- What problem(s) are we trying to solve for the user?
- How do we do it differently from your competitors
Once we get a baseline for these questions, we move on to understanding the technical requirements. Is it a mobile app? A web app? A website? All of the above? Each application has unique challenges and constraints to work within.
The last step of this first phase is creating a list of functionalities and features to include in your website or application. We like to categorize these into two categories – critical vs. noncritical. Critical functions are ones necessary for the app or website to work on a basic level while noncritical functions are features that can be implemented later in future product roadmaps.

2. Research
Once we identified the pain points and problems that need to be solved, we need to conduct research. The user research is going to be the reference point of the project. The things we discover and unearth during this stage lays the foundation for how the entire project will turn out.
In this phase, we conduct:
- Surveys
- User research
- Market research
- Competitive audits
- Preliminary user testing

3. Analyze
In stage 3, we take all the information gathered from the Research phase and distill it down into the most important elements. We focus on creating personas, realistic representations of your users (or in the case of a new product, the target users), and analyze their journey to accomplish a goal. This phase is dedicated to building empathy with the users and identifying opportunities to improve upon touch points.
In this phase, we create:
- Personas
- User journey maps
- Empathy maps

4. Design
In stage 4, we finally get to design the product! We use all the information from phases 1-3 to create a roadmap for how the user should experience the product.
In this phase, we create:
- Mind maps
- Site maps
- User flows
- Wireframes
- Moodboards
- Static prototypes / Mockups
- Interactive prototypes
- Animation / interaction design
- Visual hierarchy / UI kit

5. Delivery
In stage 5, we pass all the assets to the development team for implementation and execution. At this stage, CRISPx provides support in terms of internal user testing and providing visual guidelines for the development team in preparation for launch.

6. Re-Analyze
Once the product launches, it’s time for another round of analysis. In this stage, we look at the performance of the designs and make adjustments as needed. This may include reviewing Google Analytics and other reports, additional UX testing, and A/B testing.
