How did we help EVGA launch new GPU packaging?

BE DIFFERENT.
The CRISPx research team conducted an in-store and online competitive audit of GPU packaging. We focused on differentiating EVGA’s product through a few key features:
- Vertical box
- Triangle corner detail
- Attractive vapor design
- Product hero shot
UNIFY THE DESIGN.
Our audit of EVGA’s previous GPU packaging showed variety in colors and design. For the new product launch, CRISPx focused on creating consistent packaging design that would allow any consumer to glance at the shelf and know that he or she was looking at an EVGA product.
LET THE PRODUCT SHINE.
We focused on highlighting the product front and center with impactful and bold renderings complemented with pops of color.
TELL A STORY WITH COLOR.
One of the unique aspects of the new EVGA GPU packaging was the introduction of the EVGA Vapor design. We used different colors of the Vapor to differentiate between product tiers while still projecting the EVGA brand.
Our Design Process.
We begin with sketches of different directions before moving on to white box prototypes, color box prototypes, and final production. From an intricate corner detail to packaging integrity testing, CRISPx worked extensively with Stephen Gould Corporation to deliver exceptional prototypes and final packaging for EVGA.
EVGA really changed up their box design. They now have this beautifully designed RGB-box with, of course, the Nvidia green trim all around it and it really stands out. I really dig the box redesign here, [it] really shows the difference between last June’s and the new RTX lineup.
