SunValleyTek had already established itself as a top seller with its brands TaoTronics, RAVPower, and VAVA on Amazon being popular in many consumer electronics categories, including LED desk lamps, wireless earbuds, and more. To diversify their sales channel, SunValleyTek enlisted the help of CRISPx to penetrate the major US retailers like Best Buy, WalMart, Sam's Club, CostCo and BJ's.

How did we help SunValleyTek penetrate new markets?

ECOMMERCE TO RETAILER

After building a strong Amazon track record, SunValleyTek set its sights on entering the US retail market. CRISPx helped SunValleyTek overhaul its product packaging from plain, unbranded boxes to bold, attractive packaging. The new designs impressed the retail buyers and helped get SunValleyTek products into competitive US retail spaces. 

TARGETED ADVERTISING

Before SunValleyTek met or contacted any store buyers, CRISPx developed several awareness campaigns through targeted Facebook and Instagram advertisements. By honing in on key pieces of information such as location, CRISPx helped SunValleyTek build brand awareness to potential customers that were in the same area as the store buyers.

DATA DRIVEN PRESENTATIONS

Our innovative use of digital presentation tools allowed SunValleyTek to track analytics about presentations, including notifications when the presentations were viewed, how long each content block was viewed, and the overall time spent viewing the presentation.

This allowed SunValleyTek to gauge interest from specific store buyers and follow up with them according to their interests, whereas in the past SunValleyTek would have no idea if the presentations sent were ever viewed in the first place.

CRISPx used superior printing techniques such as holographic foil and spot UV treatments to deliver premium packaging prototypes. The retail buyers were impressed by the high quality prototypes and visual consistency of the packaging across product categories.
